No electricity, water only from the Soddatjørna Lake, two gas stoves and a solar panel for lighting. Self-sustaining visitors of the Skåpet Tourist Lodges can be accommodated here. South of the Lysefjord in Norway and far from any roads, trekking fans have the opportunity to enjoy a special view of the breathtaking landscape. The distinctive ensemble that appears like a village in the mountains can only be reached on foot. Due to their façade and roof design, the lodges make a very rustic and primeval impression that fits in with their surroundings. The furnishings are also simple and functional.
A total of 2.2 t of titanium zinc with the RHEINZINK-prePATINA graphite grey surface quality was installed for the façades with the angled standing seam technique. The roofs received 1.5 t of titanium zinc with the double standing seam system. You can find more information in the project report that can be downloaded on the left.
